Turn Your Ohio Tax Dollars into Scholarships for Dominion Students.
At Dominion Academy of Dayton, our mission is to provide a classical Christian education that forms both the minds and hearts of students, grounded in Scripture, reason, and tradition. This mission is made possible through the support and partnership of those who believe in the lasting value of Christ-centered education.
Families are drawn to Dominion Academy not only for academic excellence, but for the intentional formation it provides. One meaningful way to help make this education accessible to more students is through the Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) Scholarship Grant Organization (SGO).
Ohio’s SGO tax credit allows individuals and families to redirect their Ohio tax dollars to provide scholarships for students at Dominion Academy of Dayton—supporting families who desire a Christ-centered education but may not otherwise be able to afford it. Donations made through OCEN may be designated specifically for Dominion Academy.
Ohio offers a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit for gifts to certified SGOs, up to $750 per individual or $1,500 for married couples filing jointly. Contributions made before the April 15 filing deadline may be applied to the previous year’s Ohio taxes owed.
By giving through OCEN, supporters directly invest in students, families, and the mission of learning well in order to love well.

New Tax Benefit for Charitable Giving for 2026
Previously, only donors who itemized their taxes could deduct charitable contributions. Because most taxpayers take the standard deduction, many supporters were unable to receive a tax benefit for their gifts.
Under the new provision for 2026, taxpayers who take the standard deduction may now also deduct charitable contributions—up to $1,000 for single filers and $2,000 for married couples filing jointly.
This change allows more families to receive a tax benefit for supporting organizations like Dominion Academy and helps further the work of providing Christ-centered, classical education to the next generation.
