We are delighted that you’re considering Dominion Academy of Dayton for your education. As a school that values global community and Christian fellowship, we are proud to support students from around the world.

At Dominion Academy, we believe that learning well prepares students to love well—to love God, serve others, and engage the world with wisdom and compassion. You’ll be part of a close-knit community rooted in Anglican Christian values. In addition to your academic studies, you’ll engage in Bible/worldview classes and morning assembly. Many of our international students are placed with caring Christian host families, allowing you to experience life in the United States in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Dominion Academy partners with International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES) to welcome international students from around the world. Through this partnership, students are supported in their placement, host family experience, and cultural adjustment as they study in the United States.

Dominion Academy is SEVIS approved and can issue an I-20 for qualified F-1 students, and we also welcome J-1 students.

Life with a Host Family

One of the most meaningful parts of studying at Dominion Academy is the opportunity to live with a caring Christian host family. These families open their homes and hearts to our international students, offering a safe, welcoming place to belong while you study in the United States.

Your host family will provide comfortable housing, daily meals, and transportation to school and school-related activities. More than that, they will include you in everyday family life — shared meals, conversations, celebrations, and community events — giving you a true American home experience.

As part of this relationship, students are asked to respect household expectations and participate in church and community life with their host family. This shared experience helps build lasting friendships, cultural understanding, and memories that often continue long after graduation.

International Admissions Process

Start your application by contacting our International Admissions Coordinator, Dss. Michelle Caldwell. She can answer your questions and guide you through the process.

Email: michelle.caldwell@dominionacademy.org

Once accepted by ICES and Dominion Academy, we will issue your Form I-20 and send it to you quickly.

After receiving your I-20 form, you’ll pay the SEVIS I-901 fee, schedule your visa interview, and apply for your F-1 visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate in your country. When you are approved, you may enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the program start date on your I-20.

We recommend that students arrive about one week before classes begin so you can settle in and meet your host family. Please share your travel plans with them and with the Dominion Academy office.
