Student Government

Dominion Academy promotes student leadership skills through Student Government. At its heart, student government is about leadership in action. Students get the chance to plan events, share ideas, solve problems, and help shape school life in ways that matter to their peers. It’s where responsibility meets creativity and where students learn that, together that can actually make an impact.
National Honor Society

Here at Dominion Academy, our students strive to live out the four pillars of the National Honor Society—scholarship, leadership, service, and character—values that closely align with our Student Honor Code. Membership in NHS is highly regarded by our students and represents a meaningful commitment to excellence. As an active and engaged organization, NHS members regularly serve our school and broader community through leadership and service opportunities.
Shakespeare Theater

Shakespeare Theater at Dominion Academy exists to cultivate students’ understanding and appreciation of the arts—especially the work of Shakespeare as one of the most significant playwrights in Western history. As a classical Christian school, Dominion emphasizes the arts as an essential part of Christian heritage and worship.
At DA students engage in drama at every level: elementary students perform classic stories, junior high students study and read great plays, and high school students complete a Shakespeare literature course and perform a full-length Shakespeare play. The program introduces students to live theater, teaches the fundamentals of classical and Elizabethan drama and poetry, and guides them in bringing a character to life on stage.
Senior Ball

Each spring, Dominion Academy underclassmen and their families host our cherished annual Senior Graduation Ball in honor of the graduating class. This beautiful tradition serves as a meaningful celebration of our seniors and the culmination of their years at Dominion Academy.
The evening includes an elegant formal dinner, heartfelt speeches written and delivered in honor of each senior, and a special slideshow highlighting memories, milestones, and moments from their journey. The celebration also features ballroom dancing, a highlight of the evening and a treasured part of the tradition.
In the weeks leading up to the ball, students — along with some parents and staff — participate in ballroom dance lessons to prepare for the event. During the evening, students use assigned dance partners and traditional “dance cards” to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate and to dance with many of their fellow classmates. This thoughtful structure fosters inclusion, community, and shared joy.
