• Co-founder of Dominion Academy along with his wife Fr Wayne. and currently serves as Board Chair (learn more here)
• Became Rector of Christ the King in 1992 after 12 years of service in special education
• Serves on the boards of the Children’s Hunger Relief Fund, St. Lazarus Mission, and the Huffman Historic Neighborhood Association
• Scholarly interests include liturgics, Anglican studies, and the Christian ascetical tradition
• Has four children and seven grandchildren and lives with his wife, Sandy

Cameron Braun and his wife, Mindy, have been married for 20 years and have three children who attend Dominion Academy. Cameron graduated from Cedarville University in 2007 with a degree in Graphic Design and has spent the past 18 years running a photography business alongside Mindy. He currently serves as the Director of Operations at the Greater Dayton Association of Baptists.

layne hilyer is drawn to the whole work of education, particularly for cultivating necessary relationships between administration, faculty, and parents that make a learning environment generative and sustainable for students.

layne joined the Dominion Academy board in 2025 having 10 years teaching experience in both Secondary and Higher Education. He worked as a testing coordinator for Dominion Academy from 2021 - 2023, and was voted a vestry member for DA's ministering parish, Christ the King Anglican Church, from 2022-2025. layne received an M.A. in English from the University of Dayton, and is an apprenticing Spiritual Director with the Order of the Common Life.

John Weis has benefited from and been involved in classical Christian education for many years. He is an associate pastor at East River Church in Batavia, Ohio. A software developer by trade, John is the Director of Software Engineering at Tangram Flex.

John and his wife, Emily, have four children.
